Subject of the public procurement: „Waste collection and transport services for municipal waste in the municipality of Pernik“. The activities included in the scope of the public procurement include: 1) Collection and transportation of waste from containers to a treatment facility; 2) Collection and transportation of Bulky Waste (BW) and construction waste discarded around containers (generated during repair works by households) and from cleaning of illegal dumps to a treatment facility (upon request). The exact scope of the activity and the objects for waste collection and transportation will be updated annually in the Annual Operational Plan, agreed with the Contracting Authority, to reflect all changes - newly built or demolished buildings, new streets, streets with changed categorisation, parks and/or other publicly used areas, or other changes, as instructed. The activities under the contract will be carried out in the municipality of Pernik by districts, industrial zones, villa and settlement formations and resort areas and in the territory of the remaining settlements of the municipality. The boundaries of the districts for waste collection and cleaning are determined annually by 31 October by an order of the Mayor of Pernik Municipality, pursuant to Article 63, paragraph 2 of the Local Taxes and Fees Act. The activities, subject of the present public procurement, described in the Technical Specifications, cover the settlements on the territory of Pernik Municipality: 1. Pernik town; 2. Batanovtsi town 3. Villages on the territory of Pernik Municipality: Lyulin; Viskyar; Meshchitsa; Bogdanov Dol; Zidarci; Bosnek; Chuypetlovo; Vitanovtsi; Golemo Buchino; Divotino; Dragichevo; Kladnitsa; Rudartsi; Kralev Dol; Leskovets; Planinitsa; Rasnik; Raduy; Studena; Selishchen Dol; Cherna Gora; Yardzhilovtsi. The approximate amount of waste annually is 50 000 tonnes. Of which municipal waste around 40 000 tonnes and bulky waste around 10 000 tonnes. The number of inhabitants as of 15.06.2026 with permanent address in Pernik Municipality 92 622 inhabitants. For Pernik town 78 507 inhabitants.
