The winning bidder must provide the replacement of 4 Andritz D5LL type centrifuges and their associated discharge systems with newly manufactured machines, which dewater the digested sludge before disposal at the Budapest Central Wastewater Treatment Plant. The 4 new centrifuges must be of the same make, type, and design, i.e. the Procuring Entity does not wish to procure centrifuges of different design, operation, technology, and operation. The subject of the procurement is the delivery, installation (and if necessary for the integration of the offered equipment, the implementation of technological, electrical, and structural <static> modifications), integration into the Plant's electrical, control, and SCADA systems, commissioning, trial operation, and training of operating personnel of 4 Andritz D5LX type centrifuges or equivalent and their associated discharge systems. The Procuring Entity wishes to procure equipment that is compatible with the existing plant and harmonised with it in terms of technology and operation. The production of the Andritz D5LL has been discontinued, and the manufacturer offers the Andritz D5LX type instead, which is the direct technological successor of the D5LL and has equivalent performance characteristics. Reference to the type is made solely to precisely define the desired technical performance level and system integration requirements, and compatibility with the existing system. The Procuring Entity also accepts equipment with equivalent technical parameters, provided that they can be integrated into the existing technological environment and the technical equivalence is adequately substantiated in the bidder's offer. The parameters to be examined in terms of equivalence are included in the data sheet of the technical parameters. The task includes the delivery of the new equipment and their installation together with the related architectural, electrical, and control tasks, i.e. the systems and technological units installed during the investment must be integrated into the Plant's electrical, control, and SCADA systems. If necessary for the installation of the offered equipment, the winning bidder is responsible for carrying out the technological, electrical, and structural (static) modifications, which must be priced in the bid price constituting the 1st evaluation criterion. The Procuring Entity requests design documents for the necessary modifications before these works are carried out.
