The procurement involves the award of a works contract, the subject of which is the energy efficiency of the multifamily residential building, Blocul F3, str. Bucura, Municipiul Lupeni. The works that are the subject of this procurement procedure constitute the central element of the project "Energy Efficiency of Residential Buildings in Municipiul Lupeni, Bloc F3, Strada Bucura" Cod SMIS 348068, for which Municipiul Lupeni has obtained non-repayable financing through the Regional West Programme 2021-2027, Priority 3: A region with environmentally friendly cities / Specific Objective: RSO2.1_Promoting energy efficiency measures and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, Project Call PRV/233/PRV_P3/OP2/RSO2.1/PRV_A21 - PRV/3.1.A/1.6 Energy Efficiency in Residential Buildings – UAT ITI Valea Jiului, based on the Financing Contract no. 542/26.06.2026. The general objective of the investment is to increase the energy efficiency of multifamily residential buildings, specifically the F3 residential block, located in Municipiul Lupeni, on Bucura Street - through energy rehabilitation/modernisation so that it records a reduction in the specific annual consumption of primary energy by 70% according to the energy audit report attached to this tender. The project directly contributes to the achievement of the specific objective of Regional Intervention 3.1.A – increasing the energy efficiency of multifamily residential buildings, through the following essential aspects: - Reduction of primary energy consumption: The project provides for energy rehabilitation works that will lead to a reduction in primary energy consumption by more than 70% compared to the current level. - Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions: the project contributes to the reduction of CO₂ emissions, aligning with the objectives of the European Green Deal and the transition to climate neutrality.
