Description

The subject of the contract is the design and execution of the modernization and construction of the mechanical-biological part of the wastewater treatment plant in Nowy Targ. The planned investment is to ensure an average daily flow of the wastewater treatment plant at the level of 21,000 m3/d and RLM at the level of 110,264. The subject of the contract includes design, construction works, commissioning, training, testing and handover for operation, as well as the preparation of all necessary documentation and obtaining all administrative decisions necessary to implement the subject of the contract in accordance with the applicable regulations. The Functional-User Program attached (Annex No. 1) specifies the requirements for both design and execution in the scope of the expansion and modernization of the existing elements of the mechanical, biological and settling parts on the site of the wastewater treatment plant in Nowy Targ. The data and minimum requirements described are to form the basis for the implementation of the investment. The works related to the implementation of the subject of the contract must not cause any difficulties in the operation of the wastewater treatment plant. The investment site is located in the area of the wastewater treatment plant in Nowy Targ, belonging to Miejski Zakład Wodociągów i Kanalizacji w Nowym Targu sp. z o.o. The investment site mainly occupies the central and eastern part of the treatment plant area. In this area, there are facilities belonging to the mechanical and biological wastewater treatment lines. The modernization also concerns the facilities of the settling part and the accompanying infrastructure. In the scope of the investment, i.e. design and execution, the following are included in particular:

• Modernization of the inlet channel together with the construction of a bypass

• Modernization of the main pumping station

• Modernization and expansion of the coarse screen building - Replacement of existing screens with panel and hook screens with 6-8mm perforation. Screens equipped with a press filter and a system for shredding screenings.

• Modernization of sand traps and sand separators - Modernization and renovation of the building. Installation of chain scrapers/ Renovation of existing scrapers. Equipping sand traps with new pumps adapted to a larger amount of sand pulp. Repair of covers. Replacement of fittings. Delivery of new sand separators.

• Modernization of existing primary settlers together with the expansion of the primary sludge pumping station - Replacement of scrapers in rectangular settlers. Renovation of walls, reprofiling of the bottom. Modernization of the primary sludge outlet. Expansion of the primary sludge pumping station and installation of a separator for fibrous particles.

• Construction of a gravitational thickener for primary sludge - Construction of a second gravitational thickener for primary sludge, based on the existing facility.

• Expansion of the biological part of the wastewater treatment plant - Modernization and expansion of existing reactors. Adaptation of SBR reactors to flow-through reactors. Separation of the defosfation, denitrification and nitrification chambers. Installation of low- and medium-speed mixers. Installation of aeration grids. Installation of internal recirculation pumps. Execution of AKPiA. Introduction of a control system - alternating system. Construction of three secondary settlers equipped with surface and bottom scrapers with a system for collecting float and float pumps. Excess sludge pumping station consisting of a system for external recirculation (3 working + 1 spare pumps), and a second system for discharging excess sludge to excess sludge thickeners (3 pumps + 1 spare). Secondary settlers equipped with a two-edged outflow channel – trapezoidal weir.

• Construction of the floating parts pumping station - Construction of a float tank consisting of a wet and dry chamber. The dry part is equipped with two pumps directing the float to the settling part of the wastewater treatment plant.

• Modernization of the blower station along with the equipment with installations and devices: technological, energy: power supply and control, ventilation – Equipping the blower system with a new high-performance and energy-efficient unit enabling flexible and intermittent operation with biological reactors and cooperating with the existing blower system. Renovation and replacement of compressed air pipelines. Equipping with valves with regulation and compensating fittings. Installation of air flow and pressure measurements on the main pipelines supplying air to the reactors. Adjustment of the control system depending on the method of conducting the biological process.

• Modernization of the dewatered sludge building - Modernization of the entire building. Replacement of sludge dewatering equipment after WKF with decanter centrifuges. Adaptation of the entire equipment of the facility to the new equipment. Execution of the transport of dewatered sludge through a system of conveyors directing the sludge to further processing (dryers).

• New measurement system for treated wastewater - Equipping the new measurement system for treated wastewater.

• Modernization and expansion of the dewatered sludge dryer - Construction of the dryer.

• Technological networks - Expansion and modernization of technological networks, including the water supply network, technological water network, heating network, energy network, sewer network, other technological pipelines leading the medium such as raw sewage, sand pulp, grease, excess sludge, primary sludge, float pipelines, control system on the wastewater treatment plant and all other necessary networks ensuring the proper operation of the wastewater treatment plant.

• Sealing and deodorization - Sealing and deodorization and conducting odors to filters - The objects for sealing and deodorization on the treatment plant are the inlet station, the inlet channel, the dryer.
